Conversations with My Dogs

The Dogversations book is now officially here. The book contains 68 selected photographs and dogversations from over six years of photography projects to tell the stories of Eva, Bruno, Agnes, and their lives with their human family that loves them. Each photograph and dogversation is on its own two page spread resulting in a beautiful 141 page book that is sure to please anyone who has ever talked to their pets.

The Premium Edition

Working with the design team at Friesen Press we have printed 1,000 copies of a premium edition hard cover version of the book. This version measures 8.5” x 11.5” and is printed in premium colour on high quality glossy paper.

This premium edition of the book will be available for purchase through local Saskatoon stores (currently McNally Robinson and SaskMade marketplace) as well as the Lakeview pharmacy.

It will also be sold in partnership with the University of Saskatchewan for the same list price. Ever since our golden retriever Oliver was treated for an osteosarcoma in 2012 we’ve had a strong relationship with the University of Saskatchewan’s Western College of Veterinary Medicine. $5 from the sale of each book through the University of Saskatchewan book store and USask store will be donated to the WCVM Good Samaritan Fund. The goal of this fund is to provide medical treatment for animals that are ownerless or owned by clients who can not pay for care due to circumstances beyond their control.

Private Sales

As COVID restrictions have limited the book store release of the book I have been doing some private sales of the premium edition of the book. Please contact me if you’re interested in buying a signed copy through private sale.

The Square Edition

Because of limitations with shipping and distribution of the premium edition of the book, we have worked to put together a smaller 8” x 8” version of the book on non-glossy paper. This version is also available as an ebook. Although slightly smaller this is still a beautiful book that is sure to please. It is currently available through Chapters and Amazon on line, and can also be stocked at other bookstores through Ingram distribution.
